Home Coming

First off, thanks to W3 Schools and the helpful users at Stack Overflow for coding assistance. Last time I actually coded anything with HTML CSS was not so accessible and JavaScript was king. This site took an estimate of 120 hours total to get up and running; between the coding, relearning HTML and CSS, the writing, and the graphics. Keep in mind I am not a graphic designer, so design choices were spontaneous. Despite all of that, I'm not even done, but I hope it's better than a blank page. Besides, the point was to host the more important stuff (like my articles). Everything on this site was made completely by me, and me alone. (Well, except for the NeoCities and 'Don't Feed AI' badges for which I cannot find the originals.)

You can read more about why this site exists on my About Me page. It was originally going to be a glorified portfolio, but, after dipping back into HTML, my brain basically forced me to make a slightly more ambitious one instead. I hope to make it a dedication to my childlike wonder buried long ago.

Some people here might know (or not) I used to run a blog through the original GeoCities servers when I was, like, 10. I'd read official science and medical journals, then 'dumb them down'. Y'know, removing the fancy jargon and putting the basics in layman's terms. Unfortunately, Yahoo killed GeoCities and my younger self didn't know what 'backup storage' meant. I've recently started dipping my toes back in. Now, with the rise of disinformation and AI rotting people's brains, I figured it's a better time than any to start back up.
